The founder, Dr. Janet Aspin has served as a language teacher and university lecturer for more than 30 years. She is a published author of three academic English books and several research papers which have been funded by notable universities. Dr Janet Aspin's quest and passion started as a child who saw the value in education as a means of rising from poverty. Her first posting as a trained teacher was to Chinese Primary Schools in Selangor, Malaysia, where the challenge of teaching English to non- English speakers was honed. Dr. Janet Aspin gradually moved on to lecture in universities/ educational institutes both locally and abroad. She speaks fluent Malay, Indonesian, Malayalam, Tamil and Hokkien, which makes her a relatable individual when it comes to interactive discussions of the Anglo- Celtic societal assimilation within the Australian culture.
Dr. Janet Aspin tutors ATAR English, mainly, and has seen successful, happy students pursue their goals with a passion for English and writing. Many come with a distaste for English and academic writing, but graduate as creative writers in their own rights. Armed with academic writing skills, Dr. Janet Aspin has skillfully guided countless university/TAFE students in completing their assignments with good success. Many came to the end of the road, but eventually, made progress and completed their studies. As life would have it, some paused, and never reached their destination. Dr. Janet Aspin makes it clear right from start, that the journey is theirs, and the onus is on the learner to run their own race.
Being passionate about education, Dr. Janet Aspin has been actively involved in refugee education, training teachers of refugees in the UNHCR centres in third world nations. Dr. Janet Aspin writes copyrighted modules of education, which include classroom management, self-care for teachers, effective teaching and learning strategies, positive psychology in education and theories of education. The sessions are conducted on Zoom. Tabernacle Language Mastery continually supports refugee education in any which way possible.
Dr. Janet Aspin has a Diploma in Education, ( Award of Excellence) from Ipoh Perak Teachers Training College. She completed her Bachelor degree in Education(Hons. Teaching English as a Second Language) at University Putra Malaysia. Her Master degree in Education ( Training English as a Second Language) was completed in the Malayan University. Her Doctorate degree in Strategic Leadership, concentrating in Education Administration and Leadership was completed at California Metropolitan University. She is a also certified Life Coach whose expertise is sought after by clients, mainly women battling anxiety. and rejection. Life coaching skills, positive psychology and education are closely related to each other, and these combined talents/skills have produced tangible results, impacting countless students.

Dr. Janet Aspin's areas of expertise are Language Teaching, Life Coaching, Positive Psychology, Emotional Intelligence, Spiritual Intelligence and Creative Writing.
A skill is truly a skill when you are able to empower others with it. Dr. Janet Aspin has won many public speaking contests at national and international arenas. Her latest prized conquest was a joke telling contest, where she competed with experienced, veteran participants. She has personally trained more than 1000 winners of elocution, public speaking, choral reading, debates, Shakespearean dramas and poetry recitals. Her passion for public speaking began at age 14 when she won a school poetry recital contest, which encouraged her to invest in a journey with Toastmasters International.
